McCormick Points to Consensus on Open Internet Standards

USTelecom President Walter McCormick urged Congress to pass legislation that would give the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) clear authority to adopt and enforce open Internet rules. In a speech to the Media Institute, McCormick said there is broad consensus that existing law does not provide the commission with this authority. There also is broad agreement on supporting President Obama’s open Internet goals.
